Ashima Saigal named national Salesforce MVP

Salesforce.com has announced today that Database Sherpa Founder Ashima Saigal has been named an international Salesforce MVP. The Salesforce MVP™ Program calls out exceptional individuals within the salesforce.com community and social channels for their leadership, knowledge, and ongoing contributions. In the past 4 years, this honor has been granted to only around 100 of the thousands of Salesforce users, administrators, and consultants worldwide. Ashima Saigal specializes in guiding nonprofits in evaluating, implementing, or using a Salesforce database. She is known within the Salesforce community for her DIY training and for Database Sherpa’s nontraditional approach to guiding nonprofit organizations towards peace with their data. The idea of approaching technology projects as a journey, and empowering nonprofits to use powerful technology like Salesforce on their own, has been well received both by nonprofits and by organizations that support nonprofits.

“I'm honored and humbled to be recognized as an MVP. Those who are current MVPs are people who I respect and admire. To be included with them is quite an honor.” said Ashima.

Ashima will be featured along with Veronica Beck at the Dreamforce 2014 conference in San Francisco, sharing their knowledge of building triggers with an audience of Salesforce administrators. Database Sherpa’s current activities also include Salesforce DIY, a webinar series for nonprofits that use Salesforce.
